When someone turns fifty and books a venue with a panoramic view of the city for the occasion, the decorations must not be overshadowed by the backdrop. They must play a starring role.
Proteas, deep red calla lilies, eucalyptus. Paired with glass vases of varying heights, floating candles, and oil lamps. Eventually, the light shifts; the city lights up outside—and inside, a hundred small flames glow.
The very moment for which it was all created.

A client came to us with a painting on her wall—and a wish: that the rest of the room would finally match.
The old wooden table gave way to a vintage market table lacquered in a rich green; the classic chair was replaced by a gold wire frame topped with a blue faux-fur cushion. The same painting, the same room—and yet, a completely different story.
It takes the courage to use color.🎨

A vintage Moroccan blanket featuring silver threads and tassels was a given—now, the right pillows were needed. 🛏️
We put them to the test right here in the shop: velvet against linen, patterns against textures—all in shades of blue and gray. Until it felt just right.
The customers were delighted. And so were we. 🌿

Every year, the same story—yet every year, it turns out a little differently. This particular one was designed to be minimalist: no colorful ornaments, no glitter—just moss, greenery, and black candles.
First, form balls of various sizes using different types of moss. Wrap the straw wreath base with green ribbon, then attach a black metal frame fitted with four candle holders. Secure the moss balls in place using floral pins and weave in some greenery—and just like that, you have a wreath that lasts for weeks, looking even more natural as time goes by.
It hadn't even been in the shop for an hour—and it was already gone. 🕯️

Not from a catalog—that is for sure.
Some of our pieces find their way to our boutique through buying trips that take us to some rather unusual places: warehouses tucked away in the harbor, shipping containers packed with vintage furniture, and sprawling depots across several countries where it’s easy to get lost—both literally and figuratively.
Eventually, the result ends up right here in our shop. 🪑🌿
