It's been a week now that our little neighborhood store is part of Germany's lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Nobody knows how long we’ll have to keep the doors closed – at least for a month, but authorities said it could last until mid of June or longer.

We will try to inspire, entertain and delight you with posts here during this time. If you would like to support us, we'd be super happy if you write us what subject you would like to read here.

Feel free to reach out via email or any social media canals when you’re interested in something or would like to order anything – we'll gladly arrange delivery or pickup for you!

This post is a little late—but since so many of you asked for it, we’re finally getting around to it now.

Tiled walls, the smell of grease embedded in the ceiling, and a floor that had definitely seen better days. That is what our space looked like before we moved in.

What followed were many weeks of dust, noise, and the firm belief that something beautiful would emerge from it all.

We deliberately left the photos exactly as they are—unretouched, unvarnished. Because that is simply what construction sites look like. And the contrast with how things look today speaks for itself.

"Time for fav customers and friends" was our motto from last weeks Xmas event at Rikiki. In addition to delicious finger food from three different countries (and from Mommy Land ;-)) we had time to chitchat and shop around. Made me happy to see how many girls got to know each other through our events and already looked forward to see each other again.

Thanks a million to all my friends who supported me so actively, always with a smile on their face ❤️

At our Christmas event today, we're starting this year's festive season! Lots of new objects for decorating and gifting! Can't wait to see you in our store!

Sometimes the phone rings, and on the other end is an unusual request. a neighbs optician’s shop wanted to try something different—a window display that really stands out. And they wondered if we might be interested in incorporating our decor into the design.

We certainly were.

White frosted-glass vases serving as sunglass stands, ruby-red votives as companions, floating cushions and pink lanterns in the background—and right in the middle, a selection of sunglasses that looked as if they had simply made themselves right at home.

The beauty of collaborations like this? Two completely different worlds coming together. 😄🌿
