The starting point was classic: a large corner sofa, white walls, and good flooring—but the room lacked character. The sofa and walls remained. The budget was modest. Yet, the goal was to turn the room into something special.
It began with an in-depth conversation about preferences, habits, and tastes, resulting in three mood boards representing different directions. The choice fell on a concept featuring dark tones, rich green hues, and warm materials. No structural changes, no repainting of the walls. The desired effect was to be achieved solely through furniture, lighting, and textiles.
The next step involved concrete product suggestions: velvet-green curtains, copper pendant lights in two sizes, a dark dining table with dark green velvet chairs, a sculptural cabinet, a metal sideboard, cushions, a rug, table lamps, a coffee table, and side tables and of couse acessories like vases and votives. Everything was coordinated, ordered, and delivered. During on-site setup, various positions for the sofa and table were tested—sometimes, the room layout makes all the difference.
A neutral, ordinary room has been transformed into a space that looks truly warm in the evening. The client already owned a whisky collection—now it has a fitting place to be displayed.
